They have chosen the right place

Message ID: 22358 Posted By: doughnuts_hmm Posted On: 2003-07-30 17:09:00 Subject: They have chosen the right place Recs: 0 for gamblers betting on the future of a company which doesn't have one. As an old time poker player I have seen a lot of funny things happening at the tables. But one thing I have learned pretty fast (and it has saved my stack more than one time): if you smell a scam then stop betting, don't call for a fresh deck but simply change the table. Good luck SCOX gamblers you will need it. And don't forget that in the end in all those games of chance, the house has a huge edge. Vulture^H^Hs was such a hand the house had rigged. And you can bet your whole rack that more of that kind will follow. ------------------------------------------------------------ The text of this Yahoo Message Board post has been licensed for copying and distribution by the Yahoo Message Board user "doughnuts_hmm" under the following license: License:  CC Att...

Message ID: 21671 Posted By: walterbyrd Posted On: 2003-07-28 10:10:00 Subject: Linux resellers dismiss SCO licensing Recs: 5 http://www.linuxworld.com.au/index.php?id=658054270&fp=2&fpid=1 Is scox's little scam working? I suppose it is to some degree. scox share price up sharply on no news, as canopy companies trade between one another. ------------------------------------------------------------ The text of this Yahoo Message Board post has been licensed for copying and distribution by the Yahoo Message Board user "walterbyrd" under the following license: License:  CC Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike v2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------

Utah = Scam Capital of America?

Message ID: 20943 Posted By: walterbyrd Posted On: 2003-07-24 11:21:00 Subject: Utah = Scam Capital of America? Recs: 0 If so, it's news to me. I have been googling for Mormon investment scams and other Mormon illegal activities. It seems to be a rich tradition going back over a century. But usually, Mormons rip off other Mormons. I found this, but it is from "watchman.og" so take it for what it's worth. Still it does cite a lot specifics. http://www.watchman.org/lds/scamlds.htm ------------------------------------------------------------ The text of this Yahoo Message Board post has been licensed for copying and distribution by the Yahoo Message Board user "walterbyrd" under the following license: License:  CC Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike v2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------

Will SCO name kill Vultus?

Message ID: 20928 Posted By: walterbyrd Posted On: 2003-07-24 10:37:00 Subject: Will SCO name kill Vultus? Recs: 0 If I had a half-way decent product, I wouldn't want that product associated with SCO. I don't know if Vultus WebFace was ever a hot seller. But I fully expect future sales to be zero. SCO picked up $200,000 in debt from Vultus. No problem paying off that debt by selling over-inflated shares of scox for $15 a pop. Mormon church may be some great scam artists.

Great post from desktoplinux.com

Message ID: 19888 Posted By: walterbyrd Posted On: 2003-07-21 10:25:00 Subject: great post from desktoplinux.com Recs: 0 SCO/McBride is a cancer that manipulates the media for profit. It all started with "I've got a secret, and its going to hurt you." Like that should have any legal standing. How ominous. And then they'll take you to court, and never mind why. Show cause? Ha! I should try it. Me: "I'm suing you for damages." U: "Really. What was damaged?" Me: "Never mind. I'm gonna sue. Send money, acknowledge your guilt. My lawyers have you in their sights." U: "How were you damaged by me?" Me: "I refuse to tell you unless you give me money and sign an NDA." U: "How can you sue me when you refuse to say what for?" Me: "For damages. Send money, or be sued." U: "Get lost, son of a wombat." Me: "Ad hominem attacks won't stop me from suing you. You are no...

SCOX stock scam working like a charm

Message ID: 19886 Posted By: walterbyrd Posted On: 2003-07-21 10:17:00 Subject: scox stock scam working like a charm Recs: 0 Scox insiders laughing all the way to the bank. Scox up 15% Friday, and another 12% so far today. Scox up over 600% since lawsuit started. Insiders selling like mad. http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/Holdings.asp?symbol=SCOX&selected=SCOX Linux user *still* don't get it. This is just a scam for the insiders to back out at insane valuation. Scox has never had a profitable year. In fact, Scox is a company with a book value of $10 million, and scox has lost as much as $125 million in a year. Scox was selling for way under a dollar in the last 52 weeks. Now this failing company is rich rich rich. All because nobody can see what scox is *really* up to. There will be no attempt at licensing linux - don't be silly. Why do you think insiders gave themselves a boat-load of options at $0.001 each when scox was planning this lawsuit in January? It's so...
