Is it mere coincidence that the very next day (6/27/2002) that Darl McBride replaced Ransom Love? What do you think was on the board's mind that day? Also very interesting is the month of August 2002. What took place in August? After a slow recovery of stock price from the low of $0.60 to $1.091 on 8/1/2002, by 8/30/202 the price had almost doubled to $1.98. So what caused a sudden spike? Well, you have to look in a Businessweek article to get a clue. Check out this tidbit: "Q: So when did you first contact IBM?
