What can they be thinking? Their lawyers are so clueless its like they pacific islanders in the grip of the cargo cult-- going through the motions without any understanding. SCOs thinking seems to be that if they mirror IBMs legal moves they will be successful. There is a difference between SCOs legal moves and IBMs. IBM supoenaed DB to find out what SCO showed and told them. This is directly related to IBMs claim that SCO is a stock scam and also directly related to IBM showing the judge they should win their motion to compel since SCO is showing evidence to everyone but not producing it in discovery for IBM. But what answers can SCO get from Linus and RMS? SCOs case is a contract action against IBM. It only matters what IBM did or didn't do. There is no way RMS had...

Just that one deal involved printing about 3 million brand new shares. It pissed off at least one long who posted here when his ownership got diluted. And who can say if thats the last time a deal will be announced where SCO hands out a couple million shares or options, etc. Also SCO is already authorized to issue 45 million shares without even going back to the board to ask permission (as far as I know). Consult an attorney. Etc. Just because they don't like it, doesn't mean they can pursue it. First off, everyone is entitled to an opinion. So saying "I think is a stock scam" is never actionable since its just sharing your opinion. Next, truth is also a defense. For instance saying "It is definitely a stock scam" is completely protected if you can prove it actually is a stock scam (or they can't prove it isn't, or even if they don't want to take you to court since in discovery you can ask for evidence relating to whether it is or isn't a stock scam). Also as public figures, SCO has a much higher standard before getting damages. Even if you say something thats untruthful, they have to prove you had intentional malice. Fo...
