Services.
It's an old scam. Used by a lot of internet directory services. They would just attach unauthorized services to your phone bill, or send you a bill for services you never authorized.
Not so much different from what SCO is doing. SCO has no authorizition to force me to pay for using Linux. Yet SCO intends to sends to me a bill so my linux use will be "guarnteed legal."
The FTC cracked down hard on these cramming scams a few years ago. Yet the FTC seems to ignore the scox scam. At least so far.
Do you suppose scox would send me a bill explaining why I have to purchase UnixWare?
