Would it make sense for canopy to create some shell business, and have that business buy scox? Maybe not yet, but soon?
A private business is much less open to public scuntiny, and is far less regulated.
I think it's evident by now that canopy/scox can't unload shares at some hugely inflated price.
If canopy were to wait for scox to drop to $1 a share, canopy could buy the entire thing $20MM. Not really all that much.
The scam is pretty much over, may be time for damage control.
